Family Therapist

With 10 years’ experience working with children and families in a variety of settings, Loretta is a professional and approachable counsellor.  Registered with the Australian Counselling Association, Loretta provides a supportive environment for clients of all ages with a particular interest in children, couples, parents and family groups.

Loretta is committed to helping her clients develop effective strategies to address their concerns and challenges. Her warm and genuine approach to creating a safe and comfortable environment for clients to explore issues, discover underlying beliefs and values, and insight into how they can effect change in their lives to find meaning, connection and purpose. Loretta works hard to ensure that clients come away feeling that they have had a positive experience of being heard and supported in whatever challenges they are facing to develop goals and strategies to achieve them. She is non-judgemental and respectful of all clients and has a strong desire to see clients achieve a sense of acceptance, connection and direction. 

Each session with Loretta is tailored to clients’ individual therapeutic needs. Loretta uses an integrated, client centred approach, drawing on many contemporary models of counselling, including attachment and trauma informed, narrative, and solution focused therapy, family therapy, Gottman Method couples’ therapy and Internal family systems.  Loretta believes counselling should be a rewarding experience and she looks forward to helping you achieve greater understanding, peace, connection, health and happiness.

  • Master of Child and Adolescent Counselling - Charles Sturt University
  • Level 3 Member of Australian Counselling Association
